Baking Classes

We run hands-on bread making classes to show you the traditional baking techniques we use to make our great breads.   Learn how to apply the methods to your own baking and take home a starter and a loaf of your own.

Classes are run by Robert Winters and are limited to four participants.  Each class focuses on a different aspect of bread making but will cover making and using leaven; making and proving dough; shaping, baking and cooling.

Wednesday 24 February    

Use your loaf:  For people who have little or no baking experience, this class offers an opportunity to get to grips with different flours, yeast, tools, techniques, and the bread making process.


Wednesday 3 March   The Italian loaf: an introduction to a few of the many bread traditions of Italy. We'll make a fantastic pizza dough, foccacia and a light, open textured Pane Italiano.

Classes will run from 6.45 - 9.45 pm; each class costs £50 and is limited to 4 participants. Gift vouchers for the classes are available.
