Baking Classes

We run hands-on bread making classes to show you the traditional baking techniques we use to make our great breads.   Learn how to apply the methods to your own baking and take home a starter and a loaf of your own.

Classes are run by Robert Winters and are limited to four participants.  Each class focuses on a different aspect of bread making but will cover making and using leaven; making and proving dough; shaping, baking and cooling.

Brilliant Home Baking - 12 January & 16 February 2011

Get to grips with different flours, yeasts, and artisan bread-making techniques to give your home baking a lift. Bake loaves and make doughs to bake at home.

The Italian Loaf - 26 January

An introduction to the many bread traditions of Italy. We'll make a fantastic pizza dough, foccacia and a light, open-textured Pane Italiano.

The classes are run by Robert Winters , 18.45 – 21.45, just 4 people per class, £50 – a deposit is required.
